                                                                                            Machu Picchu by car & Sacred Valley, 
                                                                                            Maras & Moray (most economic), 3days/2nights 

                                                                                            This is a great option for People who´d like to spend less money on the Machu Picchu experience, 
                                                                                            combining bus, taxi and combi, with a nice 2-hours walk to Aguas Calientes, 
                                                                                            the small village below the ruins of 7th World wonder Machu Picchu, 
                                                                                            instead of going there by train. 
                                                                                            This experience combines the economic option to visit the lost city of the Inca, 
                                                                                            7th World wonder Machu Picchu, with the complete tour through the Sacred Valley, 
                                                                                            plus the beautiful sites of Maras and Moray! 
                                                                                            Machu Picchu is said to have been discovered by Hiram Bingham, who was actually the excavator and marketer of this beautiful place (while he was really looking for the mysterious ruins of Vilcabamba), while the local People had known of Machu Picchu´s existence all the time.

                                                                                            During the rainy season (Jan-Mar), this option sometimes is not available, 
                                                                                            concerning the risk of mudslides. 

                                                                                            Machu Picchu day 1: Cusco – Pisac – Ollantaytambo – Santa María – 
                                                                                            Santa Teresa

                                                                                            We will depart at 7:30h from the starting-point at Avenida Pardo 885 (ex Inka Express local). 
                                                                                            The first stop of the tour will be in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, 
                                                                                            at the Ccorao lookout, where we will enjoy some spectacular views on the beautiful Andean landscape. 
                                                                                            We'll take a 10 minute break there to enjoy, before moving on. 

                                                                                            The next stop will be at the ruins of Pisac, 
                                                                                            where we will receive a guided tour of the archeological complex, for about 1 hour.
                                                                                            Afterwards, we'll continue the journey through the valley of Urubamba to Ollantaytambo (about 40 minutes), where our guide will teach us about the history of the vast ruins and the village for another hour. 
                                                                                            In this beautiful, little town we will have our lunch (buffet) before moving on. 
                                                                                            At about 14:00h, we will continue up a winding road in the direction of "Malaga-Pass", 
                                                                                            which stands at an altitude of 4,316m.a.s.l.. 

                                                                                            From that point, we will see some of the most amazing landscapes that Peru has to offer.
                                                                                            After a brief stop, we will begin our descent into the sub-tropical region of the jungle, 
                                                                                            passing through different micro-climates, that combine the paradisiacal landscapes of the majestic snow-capped peaks with the hot, tropical entrance to the jungle. 
                                                                                            We will see lots of gorgeous landscapes all the way to Alfamayo, 
                                                                                            from where we’ll continue on in the direction of Santa María, which is located at an altitude of 1,575 m.a.s.l.. 

                                                                                            We will take a moment to rest in Santa María, 
                                                                                            before continuing on to the small village of Santa Teresa. 
                                                                                            There, we will spend the night in a hostel, after a delicious dinner at a nice restaurant. 

                                                                                            Machu Picchu day 2: citadel of Machu Picchu

                                                                                            Breakfast will be on 7:30h, after which we'll return to the route, 
                                                                                            making our way to the train-station at the Hydroelectric Plant. 
                                                                                            There, we will board the 8:30h train to Aguas Calientes, arriving at about 9:30h. 
                                                                                            Upon our arrival, we will be transferred to our hostel. 
                                                                                            That is the moment when you will meet your guide for the following day, 
                                                                                            At Machu Picchu. He will take that opportunity to go over any final information with you.
                                                                                            Next morning, you will have the option to go up to Machu Picchu by bus or by foot. 
                                                                                            The guided tour of the citadel will start at 12:00pm, and will last for at least 2 hours. 
                                                                                            After this tour, you will be able to enjoy some free time in the ancient ruins, until about 16:30h. 
                                                                                            The recommended time to return to Aguas Calientes is 19:00h, 
                                                                                            to share dinner at a restaurant with your group and guide. There, 
                                                                                            we’ll also discuss the activities of the following day.

                                                                                            Machu Picchu day 3: Maras - Moray - Cusco

                                                                                            The train which returns to the Hydroelectric, departs from Aguas Calientes at 7:00 am. 
                                                                                            Once at the hydroelectric plant, we will transfer to a van, which will take us to Santa Teresa. 
                                                                                            We will spend about 15 minutes there, to take the last opportunity to get some food, 
                                                                                            or use the restroom, before continuing. 

                                                                                            Then, we’ll return to Urubamba, where we’ll have our last buffet-lunch of the tour. 
                                                                                            Before ending the journey, we will have one final guided tour of the beautiful sites of Maras, Moray and Chinchero. 
                                                                                            We’ll arrive in Cusco at around 17:00h.
