This package is a once-per-year opportunity, where you’d get to know the imperial city of Cusco, right in it’s typical, folkloric festivities of Inca times, with its rituals, dances and typical dishes! 

Option: you could also choose to enjoy this experience without City-Tour, if you already enjoyed that. 

We’ll give you a welcome at Cusco airport, by our transfer and transport to your hotel, where we’d suggest you enjoy a free, healing Coca-tea, and some rest, to give yourself the oppornuty to get used somewhat to the altitude. 

In the afternoon, the city-tour will be until about 18:30h. 

This tour includes a visit to Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), Cusco’s cathedral, the famous archeological complex of Saqsayhuamán, and the archeological sites of Q'enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (water-temple).

Cusco celebrates Inti Raymi (feast of the Sun, which in Europe was once celebrated as midwinter-feast, 
and nowadays as Christmas). 

In time of the Incas, this was a religious ceremony: now, it is a theater representation of the tradition back then. 

This expression generates a feeling of identity in the town, that evokes values and memories. 
It also brings to memory a time that lives in the heart of the town of Cusco (Qosqo). 

The piece is expressed in the original Quechua-language, and starts at the Temple of the Sun (Qorikancha), 
after which it’ll continue on the Main Square and, finally, in Saqsayhuaman. 

We will provide you transport and entrance. 
In the afternoon, we’ll transfer you to your hostel.
