Machu Picchu, day 1:
Cusco - Pisac - Urubamba - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

You will be collected from your hostel at 9:00, going to the Sacred Valley.
By bus we will head for Pisac, underway enjoying a short visit to the small, typical zoo. The next stop will be the ‘Mirador of Pisac’, where we will enjoy a view over agricultural fields, the sacred river Urubamba, and see apu Pitusiray on the horizon. Then, we will arrive to Pisac, where we will go up to the ruins, to enjoy the guide’s explanations for about 1 hour. After that, we will go down to the village again, where we can visit the typical local handycraft-market. After this, we will proceed to Urubamba, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch.
After lunch, our bus will head for Ollantaytambo, where, climbing to the ruins, your guide will explain you all about this place, in about 1 hour. After this, we will have some time to walk over the typical handycraft-market of Ollantaytambo.
Then, the moment will be there, to get onto the train to Aguas Calientes, the picturesque town just under Machu Picchu. There, after looking for a nice dinner, you may rest at your hostel with private bathroom, hot shower, and breakfast included.

Machu Picchu, day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu -

After an early breakfast, we will take the bus up, to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. There, the guide will be waiting for us, to show us around for about 2.5 hours. After the tour, we’ll have free time to walk around, investigate, take pictures, and enjoy the beautiful place. After that, we’ll be taken back down to Aguas by bus, leaving us some time to find us a lunch, after which,
arriving on time (look upon your ticket) at the train-station, taking our train to Ollantaytambo, where we will jump on our bus to Cusco.

Great extra: Wayna Picchu / Huayna Picchu mountain

Wayna Picchu view (Machu Picchu is in the corner), Peru
Wayna Picchu is a section / mountain inside the site of Machu Picchu, from which one has spectacular views over Machu Picchu and its valley, and whereunder you can also visit the Temple of Pachamama. The climb is steep & quite intense, and takes most People about 1 hour. For this, you'll need a separate ticket, which costs 152 soles (about $60), or 76 soles (about $30) for students with ISIC-card.
For security-reasons, only 400 People per day are allowed to climb Wayna Picchu, in 2 groups of 200.
Group 1 leaves at 7:00 - 8:00 (we recommend this group)
Group 2 leaves at 10:00 - 11:00

Reservation goes in advance (just mark on our booking-form), together with your reservation for the Inca Trail and / or
visit to the site of Machu Picchu.
